Our objectives are to teach Staff as a proactive option the skills necessary to prevent, defer and rechannel negative actions and behaviors into more pro-social, positive actions and behaviors. Our purpose, goals and objectives are realized through a combination of care and services provided throughout intensive program options. These options utilize methods which teach our staff methods of using verbal crisis interventions, positive role modeling, self-control of crisis situations with a preventative emphasis, de-escalation of negative situations, critiquing and assess skills as well as physical intervention techniques when necessary to protect staff, clients and others from injury or harm.  Staff learns a systematic approach to learning and accomplishing these skills and techniques which is built upon early recognition and proactive reactions.
